Robert J. Washington was born the 6th child out of 12 siblings to the parents of General Washington and Thelma L. Washington in Miami, Florida. Robert signed up for the military in 1974; but was on the delayed entry program, Robert went into the Military in 1976, and his first duty was Korea where he stayed for 3 years.

 

Robert came back to the United States in 1979 to his first state side duty station Augusta, Georgia where he met and married his first wife Diana Sisson(1980). They were blessed with 5 children and 9 grandchildren. Shortly after being married the Lord began to deal with Robert, and after a short time he surrendered his life unto the Lord. Brother Robert came up on military orders at different times during his service that would lead them to several military location to serve, as well as have a place for spiritual fellowship, beginning with Korea under Pastor Roy Humphrey of Christian Serviceman Center, Colorado under Pastor Thelma Harp of House of Praise, Augsburg Germany under Bishop Charles E. Moss of Christian Outreach Fellowship Church, where he went from becoming the Head Deacon to Elder and Minister Diana became the Pastor over the ministry by the leading of the Lord on Bishop Moss to ordain them. 

 

Upon final orders Elder Washington would be stationed in Tennessee (1994) continuing ministry by the guidance and instruction of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Christian Outreach Fellowship Church continued, to Remnant of God Outreach Ministries (1998), later becoming Remnant of Praise.

 

Life took a turn on the Washington family; the Lord took his mighty servant and prayer warrior Pastor Diana Washington home (2014). The ministry continued to go forward under Elder Robert Washington leading, in 2015 Elder Washington would come under the Organization of Last Days Full Gospel Apostolic Ministry, Inc., at that time Elder was placed as Pastor by Overseers Apostle Willie M. Jett Jr, and Apostle Dorothy L. Jett.

 

Pastor Washington had gone through many adversities, him and the church, but continued to do the will of the Lord. Pastor Washington consulted God on whether to remarry and if this union was in his perfect will to do so. The Lord Jesus assured Pastor Washington in the Holy Ghost by speaking to him and his Overseers: that it was of him for this union, so Pastor Washington married Evangelist Susan (Collier) Washington in 2016, with this union they have 8 children and 18 grandchildren. The Lord uses Pastor Washington in enormities of life in revealing his word for instructional teaching, by showing the catastrophes in the world that happens and relates them to the word of God being revealed by signs. The union of the Washington’s brings about an extraordinary
divergent compelling of the word of God being unveiled by Pastor and Evangelist Washington, as God uses the Pastor in signs, and breaking down of the word, he uses Co-Pastor Evangelist Washington in dreams and prophetic; making any soul that desires to see God through signs or spoken words, can do so when coming into Remnant of Praise.

Pastor Washington continually being trained by man and God to be used in the ministry in capacities of teaching, and witnessing to lost souls, while still being a humble servant in the work of the Lord. Elder Washington didn’t just do church work in administration, Teaching Bible Study, Sunday School teacher, helping in tent revivals, Treasurer, Audio and Video Ministry photograph, and being the Keyboardist; but managed also to do schooling on the natural as well. Pastor Washington achieved numerous certificates, starting with school in 1975 for Automotive Mechanic, Computer Programming (2004), Electrician (2006), and HVAC air condition repair in 2008.

Even though Pastor Washington stays busy for the Lord; he enjoys teaching the word the most. Pastor believes that his members may grasp full understanding of the word of God better in teaching them. Pastor Robert Washington’s passions are the youth, and elderly, but his greatest passion is to see lost souls running back to the House of God.
